Debating projects

Why public debates
Throughout public debates on hot issues of current czech society, we try to open a space for both the civic society platform and also debating skills to be developed.

Our debate tournaments project called "On the way to the parliament", and local happenings "Europe is Fun!" are designed for students and other youths.

Working with students and youths is part of our debate scheme. We therefore try to prepare the debates in an interesting and appealing way in order to attract young people to develop their debating skills and defend their stances. To make the debate "low-profile" we cooperate with rappers and young moderators. In order to make the debates more involving, we arrange it in competitive way.Up to now, the student debates are heading towards a national series called "On the way to the parliament". Czech television may be involved in this project.

Since all public debates are being held just in Czech, info on them in englich is limited.
