Seminars & Conferences

Agora CE prepares and runs seminars and training programs for elected officials, public service workers, NGO's, students, and others.

We share our experience by publishing expert materials that are primarily distributed to target groups.

On regular basis we prepare international conferences on civic engagement and participation as well as congenial topics on a regular basis.

Our main activities in the field of education are:

  • organizing of seminars and trainings on civic participation, engagement, partnership, and civic involvement in decision making
  • preparing international conferences on civic participation
  • courses on moderating public debates and communication, with assistence of experts from abroad
  • publishing brochures, materials, and manuals on topics of our concearn

Recently, the  conference on community planning of social services and International Forum on Public Participation and Building Partnership were held in Prague by Agora CE.

The final round of On The Way to the Parliament

The final round of student´s debates will take place in the Parliament of Czech Republic (Státní akta, Snìmoví 4, Praha 1) on the June 2nd at 10 o’clock.

The attendees will be students from four debating teams that won the regional rounds. The winner will be published at our website after the final.

Public debate in Jesenice

Agora CE organizes public debate focusing on changes of the Spatial Plan in Jesenice. It will take place on January 20 at 6pm in Disco bar Holiday in Jesenice.

The public debate is a part of bigger project called Suburbanization conference.

Pre-election debate - canceled

Pre-election debate will be organized by Agora Central Europe in October. The main political parties will be invited to attend the debate and you will have the chance to question them face to face. We will give more details soon.
